This is a beautiful vintage pendant watch in sterling silver. This watch is non-functional at the moment and would be a project piece for the right person. The movement is 17mm and could be replaced with anything that size or smaller.
We believe this piece was made in the late 1930's in Mexico. The movement contains a Sidney branded wheel, which would have been the Sidney Steele Watch Company. His Brother, Harry Steele was famous for his Mexican watch business. The redacted US Import Code across the bridge signals that it was part of a lot of movements bound for Steele and adds to the mystery.
